Kristy

Insurance Coordinator

Kristy began her career in dentistry in 2003 and joined the practice in 2013. With years of experience and a strong attention to detail, she plays a vital role in helping patients navigate the financial side of their dental care.

As Insurance Coordinator, Kristy verifies insurance benefits, submits claims and appeals, and assists patients over the phone. Her efficiency, friendliness, and knack for getting things done make her an invaluable part of the administrative team.

Outside the office, Kristy enjoys camping and attending steeplechase races, anything that gets her outdoors and having fun. She describes herself as dependable, fun-loving, quirky, efficient, and friendly. She’s passionate about her family and friends, and her guilty pleasure is indulging in Hostess Snowballs.

Kristy is married to Chris and has two children—a son and a daughter. Her home is full of love (and animals!) with two dogs, two cats, and a horse. She is also a proud member of the American Legion Post 72.

Janet

Treatment Coordinator

Janet began her career in dentistry in 1999 and joined the practice in 2000. She has built decades of experience helping patients understand their treatment and feel confident in their care. With a warm personality and deep knowledge of the field, Janet plays an essential role in connecting patients with the care they need.

As Treatment Coordinator, Janet reviews financing options, helps patients understand their insurance benefits, and clearly explains recommended treatment. She believes the practice is truly unique because of its commitment to patient care—and the genuine love the team has for the individuals they serve. She also enjoys working closely with her coworkers, who feel like an extension of her family.

Outside the office, Janet loves spending time with her family and traveling whenever she gets the chance. She describes herself as dependable, caring, compassionate, a team player, and someone with a great sense of humor. She is passionate about her family, and her guilty pleasures include chocolate and binge-watching Netflix. Janet is married and has two children—a son and a daughter.

Laura

Treatment Coordinator

Laura began her career in dentistry in 2022, the same year she joined the practice, after completing her education at George Mason University. She chose this path because she loves being around people and finds fulfillment in helping others. Her welcoming personality and dedication make her a natural fit for patient-centered care.

As Scheduling Coordinator, Laura helps patients keep their smiles healthy by scheduling appointments efficiently and ensuring their visits run smoothly. She appreciates that the practice is unique for its employees who genuinely care about patients’ well-being. She also loves working with a team that makes every day enjoyable.

Outside the office, Laura spends her time with friends and family, reading, hiking, and exploring national parks with her husband. She describes herself as caring, dependable, adventurous, honest, and dedicated. Laura is passionate about animals as she, her husband and their two kids share their home with a golden retriever and three rescue cats. Her guilty pleasure is telling dad jokes, which adds to her warm and playful personality.

Mandi

Treatment Coordinator

Mandi began her career in dentistry in 2024 when she joined the practice after receiving her training directly from Drs. Yung and Jelinek. She was drawn to the field because of the meaningful patient relationships and the high-quality care the practice is known for.

As Hygiene Coordinator, Mandi handles all front desk responsibilities except insurance, helping patients stay organized, supported, and prepared for their appointments. She loves being part of a team that values excellence in care and strong, genuine patient connections.

Outside the office, Mandi enjoys spending time with her family. She describes herself as loyal, honest, friendly, caring, and sarcastic. She is passionate about her family above all else and is a proud spouse, parent of two children, and grandmother.

Dental Hygienists

Danielle

Dental Hygienist

Danielle began her career in dentistry in 2007 after studying at Minnesota State. She was inspired to enter the field because she loved her own experience with braces and grew up with a fantastic dentist who made visits enjoyable and memorable. In 2019, Danielle joined the practice, bringing her skill, compassion, and gentle approach to patient care.

As a hygienist, Danielle examines patients for signs of oral disease, cleans their teeth, takes radiographs, and educates them on maintaining healthy home care habits. She appreciates that the practice is unique for its thorough, patient-focused approach and the supportive team she works alongside every day.

Outside the office, Danielle stays busy with a whole and active life—traveling, gardening, diving into DIY projects, and spending time with her five children. She also gives back through volunteer work with the Fauquier Educational Farm, Crossroads Connection, and Feed My Starving Children. She describes herself as a mother at heart—active, patient, gentle, and caring.

Maribel

Dental Hygienist

Maribel received her dental hygiene education from Guilford Tech Community College and began her career in dentistry in 2011. She joined the practice in 2016, bringing with her a strong desire to make a difference in people’s lives through compassionate, preventative dental care.

As a hygienist, Maribel provides thorough cleanings, takes radiographs, educates patients, and works closely with the team to support overall oral health. She believes the practice is unique because of its amazing team and the sweet patients they care for every day. One of the aspects she values most about her role is helping patients prevent disease and maintain lifelong oral health.

Outside the office, Maribel spends time with her family and stays involved with her church. She describes herself as dedicated, responsible, determined, hard-working, and dependable. She’s passionate about her family and working out, especially heavy lifting. She also enjoys decorating for family birthdays and events.

Maribel is married to Paco and has two daughters, Pricilla and Eva. She volunteers at her daughters’ school and participates in church-related community service.

Sherri

Registered Dental Hygienist

Sherri began her dental career in 2002 after earning a Biology degree from the University of Virginia and completing her Dental Hygiene education at Lord Fairfax Community College. She later received advanced training in monitoring IV sedation. In 2014, she joined the practice, bringing a lasting passion for oral health and patient-centered care.

Sherri chose this profession because she genuinely loves teeth and enjoys watching patients’ oral health improve over time. Her responsibilities include patient care, treating periodontal disease, and assisting with the practice’s digital presence. She believes the practice is special because of its shared commitment to conservative care and its strong “work family” atmosphere.

Outside the office, she enjoys watching college football, strength training, and spending time with her family. She describes herself as meticulous, compassionate, driven, reliable, and supportive. Her guilty pleasure is an occasional fountain Coke, and her favorite quote is, “Create a life you love to live.”

Sherri is married to Jacob and has a daughter, Zoe. She loves traveling, trying new foods, and attending concerts.

Ashlyn

Dental Assistant

Ashlyn has been part of the practice since December 2017 and has been working in dentistry since 2016. She completed her dental assisting training right here in the office and has continued to grow her skills through advanced courses in OSA, sedation, and CPR. She chose this career path because it offered room to grow, learn, and make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives.

In her role, Ashlyn prepares treatment rooms for both patients and doctors, helps explain treatment, and ensures every visit is supported with empathy and care. She loves that the practice is unique in always putting patients’ best interests first.

Outside of work, Ashlyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being in nature, journaling, and getting creative whenever she has the time. She describes herself as outgoing, resilient, determined, empathetic, and a free spirit. She’s passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and believes deeply in the quote: “What’s meant for you will not pass you by.”

Cadie

Dental Assistant

Cadie joined the practice in 2024 but has been in the dental field since 2007. She received on-the-job training and chose dentistry because she had always known she wanted to work in the medical field and help people. Her experience, compassion, and natural care for others shine through in everything she does.

At the practice, Cadie supports patient care, assists the doctors, and helps keep the clinical side running smoothly. She appreciates that the office is truly team-oriented—a place where everyone works together to provide the best possible experience.

Outside the office, Cadie loves spending time with her family and pets. She also enjoys volunteering at her kids’ school events whenever she can. She describes herself as caring and passionate about helping others. Her guilty pleasure? A relaxing afternoon nap on the weekend. She’s also a big fan of Mexican food at local restaurants.

Cadie is married and has two children, Ethan and Allison. Her warm personality and dedication make her an excellent addition to the team.

Carrie

Dental Assistant

Carrie has been a dedicated member of the practice since 1998, the same year she began her career in dentistry. She received on-the-job training and has continued to build her skills through advanced courses, including X-ray certification, CPR, sedation, OSHA, and HIPAA. She entered the field when Drs. Yung and Jelincik gave her an opportunity no one else would—an act that became one of the best decisions she has ever made.

Carrie’s role includes assisting the doctors, supporting patient care, and helping ensure the clinic runs efficiently day to day. She believes the practice is truly unique because of its doctors and staff—a team that genuinely cares for one another and for every patient who walks through the door.

Outside the office, Carrie loves spending time with her family and serving through her church whenever opportunities arise. Her guilty pleasure is a good cup of coffee, and her favorite quote is one she lives by: “God is good all the time!”

Carrie is married to Trey and has two children, Benjamin and Braxton. She enjoys time spent hunting, fishing, shooting, and simply being outdoors with her family.

Dina

Dental Assistant

Dina began her career in dentistry in 2024 and joined the practice the same year. She received her training here in the office and has already expanded her skills through advanced courses, including X-ray certification and CPR. Dina is committed to growing in her role and continuing to learn as she builds her dental career.

Her responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, sterilizing equipment, and helping support a smooth, efficient flow throughout the clinical area. Dina’s reliability, friendliness, and eagerness to learn make her a natural fit within the team.

Outside the office, Dina enjoys spending time with her family. She describes herself as reliable and friendly, and she is passionate about advancing her knowledge and skills. Her guilty pleasure is binge-watching TV shows, and her favorite quote—“There’s no place like home” from Dorothy—reflects her love for family and comfort.

Lyza

Dental Assistant

Lyza began her career in dentistry in 2018 and joined the practice that same year. She chose this career path because she knew she didn’t want a desk job. She wanted something hands-on, interactive, and meaningful. Since then, she has become a reliable and dedicated part of the clinical team.

In her role, Lyza assists the doctors and helps train new hires, ensuring the team stays strong, skilled, and consistent. She believes the practice is unique because of its focus on quality over quantity and its true family atmosphere, values she feels proud to embody every day.

Outside the office, Lyza enjoys reading and spending time with her family. She describes herself as a team player, diligent, focused, caring, and responsible. She is passionate about family time, and her guilty pleasure is doughnuts. Her favorite quote, “Everything happens for a reason,” reflects her positive and grounded outlook on life.

Lyza is married to Mark and has two daughters, Kira and Kenna. At home, she enjoys caring for her chickens and dogs and loves unwinding with a good book.

Sonia

Dental Assistant

Sonia began her dental career in 2023 after completing her education at Blue Ridge Community & Technical College. She joined the practice in 2025, bringing with her a passion for helping people and a love for seeing patients happy with their results.

Sonia chose this career path because she enjoys making patients feel cared for, comfortable, and confident in their smile. She appreciates that the practice is close-knit—where teamwork, support, and genuine connection shape the patient experience every day.

Outside the office, Sonia enjoys staying active, spending time with friends and family, and reading. She also loves playing and practicing volleyball, which keeps her energized and engaged. She describes herself as compassionate, adaptable, positive, and reliable. Her guilty pleasure is online shopping—she jokes that she’s “just browsing,” yet packages always seem to find their way to her doorstep.

Sonia is married to Lyis and is a proud mom to two girls, Alessandra and Abigail. Her dedication, warmth, and genuine love for helping people make her a valued member of the team.
