Many of our team members have children of their own. In fact, Dr. James Jelinek’s son Andrew is also a dentist and works alongside his dad! So they know how to handle everything from off-the-wall questions to the occasional temper tantrum. We aren’t one of those dental offices where young kids are simply tolerated.

As Dr. James Jelinek explains in this video, we take the time to do a slow introduction to new things like the dental chair and our equipment. We explain everything in terms your kids can appreciate. For example, we call our suction device “Mr. Thirsty.” Nothing is ever forced. We use a “tell, show, do” approach to introducing services like cleanings.
